Just a short drive up the Kern Canyon, our Stark Creek Adventure offers a unique blend of scenery, terrain, and wildlife. This area is active cattle grazing land, and on occasion we may safely observe cattle along the trail. Stark Creek runs nearly year round, and the route features a rare view of the historic flume canal that feeds the hydro plant at the mouth of the canyon. With paved sections, dirt roads, and single track trails, this adventure offers plenty of options for dogs of all abilities. There is endless distance to explore, making Stark Creek a perfect spot for long, satisfying hikes.
